Abstract: Objective:To study the measures that is to improve the effect of rodent control in the region with HFRS.Methods:To use mousetrap capture and powder-trace to observe result of rodent control with the different measure in one year.Results:⑴After three times a year(May.September and December),the rodent density average was 1.22% during the year,it was lower than that of two times a year(March.October).The density had difference(χ²=31.58,P<0.01).(2)After frequent using Mousetrap capture and fresh bait for rodent control in every peasant's house,the rodent density average was 2.36%(powder-trace) during the year,it was also lower than that of two times routine assault rodent control(5.07%),the rate of satisfaction was 85% in the peasants.(3)During rodent control,The rodent density of the bait thrown by professionals was also lower than that of nonprofessionals(x²= 5.24,P<0.05).Conclusion:The result showed that the rodent control in HFRS regions must be according to environment trait and endemic characteristic of HFRS and rodent number to choose the correct control times and control frequency and using all kinds of way by professionals,it can be heighten result.
