Abstract: AIM:Observation of bionomics of Anopheles minimus and its role in malaria transmission in south parts of Yunnan was conducted, and it's change for many years control.METHODS:Collected from human-bait and cattle-bait.RESULTS:The lavae breeding in slow-stream and ricefield were 93.2% and 6.8% respectively.Out-village and in-village human biting rate were 0.75 and 0.65,collections from cattle out-village in-village were 0.6∶0.4.Relationship between the seasonal fluctuation and the curve of malaria cases was identical. CONCLUSION: Anopheles minimus was still a highly efficient vector in transmitting malaria in south parts of Yunnan.
