Abstract: Objective: To study on the correlation between the antigen of encleidae (moth & caterpillar) and allergic asthma. Methods: The patients with allergic asthma and forest workers、fruit growers were examined by prick test using the antigen (allergen of encleiade and other allergens) and routin clinical examination. Results: The 35 cases and 36 subjects were determined with the strongest positive of encleidae antigen individually in the 60 patients with allergic asthma and 440 cases of forest workers、fruit growers. The positive rates of them were 58.3% and 8.2%. Conclusions: The allergic asthma may be caused by encleidae allergen. The prevention and control of the desease must be puting attention to firstly in medical work.
