Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of Stratgen on Rodent outdoor in large area of city.Methods(1) To treat with Stratgen in outside environment in large area of all kinds of situation.(2) This experimen was carried by the method of once saturation baiting.(3) The effect of killing rodents was evaluated by deratization rate,rodent density investigation was carried out by the methods of night trap,powder tracting and bait consumption.Results Superiority rodent species was Rattus norvegicus in outside environment of Fuzhou,which accouted for 93.48% of the total.The density of rodent was 3.08%,33.08% and 32.50% respectively by night trap,powder tracting and bait consumption before trentment.After treatment,the density was 0.35%,25.54% and 29.56% respectively and deratization rate was 88.64% with night trap.Conclusion The deratization rate was 88.64% with method of once saturation baiting of stratgon.The effective method for rat inferestation control of city was based on the rodent species of different environment.
