Abstract: Objective To investigate the distribution of the small mammals in Dali.Methods Small mammals were captured by mouse-trap in different ecological habitats,then the species of small mammal were identified.Results Twenty species of small mammal were captured in Ailao Mountain.A.chevrieri,E.miletus and A.draca were the common species in field,the species of small mammal indoors was only R.norvegicus.Fifteen species of small mammals were captured in Cangshan Mountain,R.rattus sladeni.T.belangeri and A.chevrieri were the common species in field,R.norvegicus was the dominant species indoors.Ten species of small mammals were captured in Fengyi.R.rattus sladeni,A.chevrieri and T.belangeri were common species in field,R.flavipectusand R.norvegicus were common species indoors.Ten species of small mammals were captured in Wanqiao.A.chevrieri and E.miletus were the common species in field,R.norvegicus was the dominant species indoors.Conclusion The distribution of small mammals varied in different investigate place.
