Abstract: Objective:To survey the delimitation of zoogeographical regions on the Tabanidae fauna in Yichang,Hubei province,China.Methods:The samples of Tabanidae were collected with network.Result:Among the 4 genera and 37 species of Tabanidae Listed,16 species(or 43.3%) belong to the species entirely or mainly distributed in the oriental region,9 species(or 24.3%) to those entirely or mainly distributed in the palaearctic region,and 12 species(or 32.4%) to those distributed in both oriental and palaearctic region.Conclusion:The dilimitation of zoogeographical regions of Tabanidae in Yichang should be included in the oriental regions.
