Abstract: Objective Study the fauna of gamasid mites in Hubei. Methods Collect data of gamasid mites from Hubei and analyze them. Results Among the 78 species of gamasid mites listed,36 species (or 46.2%) belong to the species entirely or mainly distributed in the Oriental region,25 species (or 32.1%) of those entirely or mainly distributed in the Palaearctic region,and 17 species (or 21.8%) in both Oriental and Palaearctic region. Conclusion Fauna of gamasid mites in Hubei have more characteristics of Oriental Region.
