Abstract: Objective To study effect of sulfluramid bait on Coptoptermes formosanus. Methods Knocking down,anti-bore experiment and field experiment were applied. Results The results showed that the efficiency of sulfluramid bait against C.formosanus was obvious. The mortality of termites in 3 days,5 days were 65.67% ,100%,respectively,which as properly as that of mirex. The pine woods,treated by sulfluramid at concentration of 0.20% ,were reduced weight by 3.53% . In field experimen,the nest termites were killed after 35-50 days,and the effect was very significant. Conclusion Sulfluramid gave significant control efficiencies against C.formosanus.
