Abstract: Objective:To study the repellent efficacy and acute toxicity of Meijie Wang Repellent.Methods:Laboratory experiments.Results:After human volunteer's hand and baby mice exposed to the repellent with the dosage of 0.063 ml/cm²,the experiment results indicated that effective repellent protection time against Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus was over 6 hours.The toxic experiment showed that the acute oral toxicity(LD₅₀) to white rats was more than 5000 mg/kg.But it was slightly irritant to shin and eye.Conclusion:The repellent is good for repelling mosquito and low acute toxicity substance.
