Abstract: Objective:The clinical symptom of urinary acariasis was under analysis in order to provide the evidence to early diagnosis of urinary acariasis.Methods:The routine urine examination,routine blood examination,total IgE,specific IgE of mites in serum,dermal sensitivity test were detected for the 69 patients with urinary acariasis that had been identified with the investigation of epidemiology respectively.The test of cystoscopy was taken for the 11 patients with urinary acariasis respectively.Results:The main clinical manifestations were irritation sign of bladder,such as enuresis in the night,frequency of micturition,urgency of urination,urodynia,hydrops of face and lower limb,abnormality of urine volume,proteinuria,large epithelial cells in urine and so on.The leukocyte count was in the range from 5.3×10⁹/L to 11.4×10⁹/L.The eosinophilic granulogyte count was high in the classification of leukocytes and was in the range from 0.5×10⁹/L to 0.14×10⁹/L(normal 0.05 - 0.09,the highest 0.48).The levels of total IgE and specific IgE of acarida mites were higher in the positive patients than those in negative patients(P<0.01,P<0.05).The results of dermal sensitivity test showed that the positive number of "■","■","+","±","-" were 39,41,36,25,1 835 respectively,the positive rates of "■","■","+","±","-" were 1.96%,2.06%,1.81%,1.25%,92.92% respectively.The tests of cystoscopy for 11 patients showed that the epithelium mucosae cells were active proliferation,pachynsis in trigone of urinary bladder,plasmocyte and lymphocytic infiltration and pink abscess in membrane propria,the change of trabecularism and congestion and telangiectasis in inter wall of bladder.Conclusions:Urinary acariasis was deficient in specific clinical symptom.The characteristic clinical manifestations of urinary acariasis were positive of mites in urine,high level of total of IgE,specific IgE of acarida mites in serum,positive of dermal sensitivity test.
