Abstract: This paper reports the determination on the amounts of feeding and water drinking of Rattus rattoides in different seasons from October, 1991 to August, 1993.The average amounts of feeding and water drinking were 70.40±9.47g/kg body weight/day and 107.82±9.69ml/kg body weight/day, respectively. The formula for the relationship between feeding amount and average daily temperature was:Y=151.5081-3.9701x;while the formula for the relationship between water drinking amount and average daily temperature was Y=36.3899+24. 5994x. The feeding amount of adult female was remarkedly lower than that of adult males, but the drinking amounts of both did not differ significantly.
