Abstract: Under rodent controlling, we had been observatiug the rodent communities in suburb of Jinan from 1981 to 1991. In the before controlling, the population of Rottus norvegicus was 85.23%, Mus muaculus was 14.77%, But in Sujia village, after sustained controlling by bait-box, we investigated 13265traps/night, the captured rate is 2.60%. in 1983, 1984, 1985, the percentage of the field rodent is seperately 86.96%, 92.67%, 45.83%. Omly one Crociduro suavedents was captured later years. xujia village was controlled throughly once a year, in the investigation of 11506 traps/night, the captured rate was 7.3%, the percentage of the field rodent in 1983, 1984, 1985 and 1986 was seperately 29.14%. 35.80%. 15.30% and 27.78%, the field rodent was scarcely found in other years. After the winter in 1990, Sujia village wasn't controlledg rodent. In August of 1991, we investaged that the Rattus norvegicus became the superiority species again, it is 66.67% of the total captured rodent.By the author, the top community in north, especially in country is Rattus norvegicus. this community can be destroyed after the rodent controlling, but once, the controlling and other disturbing was stopped, Rattus norvegicus will come back rapidly to the top community.Otherwise, that the field rodent came indoor is effected by the density of rodents indoor and is connected with the density of the field rodent.
