Abstract: Studies on cells of 10 strains isolated from patients, ticks and animals in China and strain B31 isolated from Ixodes scapularis in USA with electronic microscopy showed that their ultrastructure was similar, but not identical. Of the cells of 10 Chinese Borrelia burgdorferi strains, the length was majorly between 10.0~18.0μm, the spiral wavelength was between 1.8~2.8μm and the width was between 2.0~2.5μm. All 10 Chinese Borrelia burgdorferi had seven flagella inserted at each end. In addition 90%(9/10) Chinese Borrelia burgdorferi had twelve flagella inserted at each end.
摘要: 目的:与美国B31菌株比较,观察研究中国莱姆病螺旋体的超微结构。方法:选取10株不同来源的中国莱姆病螺旋体,用戊二醛、锇酸双固定,618树脂包埋,铀铅双重染色,H-600A电镜观察。结果:发现其菌体长度大多数在10.0~18.0μm之间,螺旋波形长度一般为1.8~2.8μm,菌体宽度在2.0~2.5μm之间;依据鞭毛数的不同,10株中国菌株均含有两种或两种以上的菌体,其中所有菌株均含有一种7根鞭毛的菌体,含有12根鞭毛菌体的菌株占90%(9/10),含有8根鞭毛菌体的菌株占30%(3/10),含有15根鞭毛的菌体者仅1个菌株。结论:中国莱姆病螺旋体与北美的莱姆病螺旋体之间存在着明显的差异。首次证实中国莱姆病螺旋体的菌体长度、螺旋波形长度、菌体宽度等含有一定的多态性,主要具有7和12根鞭毛两种类型的菌体。
