Abstract: Objective:In order to study experimental bacteria carriage in insects,we developed an experimental breeding technique for an insect in a single tube.Methods:Bacterial suspension were compounded by mixture of broth、Tween-80 and food oil,dripping on the external of flies and cockroaches,then,moving each of them separately into a glass tube with a cap having 3 or 5 holes.Results:The mixture of bacterial suspension was a good adhesive agent for insects.The flies recovery rate was 74.0%,and the cockroaches recovery rate 58.0%(P=0.1395);the flies survival rate was 43.24%,and cockroaches the survival rate were 48.28%(P=0.7841) in 14th day.Conclusions:This technique can drip fixed quantity of the bacteria onto insects,having no cross infection happened among insects during experimental period.It is a simple method for breeding insects,and is fit for the research of vector transmission diseases by insects.
摘要: 目的:为开展蝇、蜚蠊等病媒昆虫的实验带菌消长研究,建立昆虫单虫单管实验饲养技术。方法:用营养肉汤、吐温-80和食用油混合液配制菌悬液,点滴法昆虫体外染菌,移入玻璃试管内,套上带孔铝盖。结果:配制的混合菌液,对虫体粘附性能良好。蝇和蜚蠊复苏率分别为74.0%和58.0%(P=0.1395),第14d存活率分别为43.24%和48.28%(P=0.8741)。结论:本技术对昆虫可以定量染菌,饲养中供虫间无交叉感染。该方法简便易行,适用于病媒昆虫的实验染菌研究。
