Objective To probe the epidemiological features of the natural infection of leptospirosis disease in Guangzhou.Methods The serum of healthy people and host animal in the focus was collected and the serological detection and field epidemiological investigation were carried out.The status of carrying germ in that area was analyzed and evaluated.Results The antibody positive rate among 808 healthy people was 7.30%(59/808).The difference of positive rate among different sample spots was significant(χ2=6.487,P<0.05);The difference of positive rate between dry land and flatness area was significant(χ2=8.068,P<0.01)as well.The positive rate of rats was 0.55%,R.norvegicus 0.47% and R.flavipectus 3.17% seperately.Conclusion The resalts of serological detection and epidemiological investigation indicated that the focus existed strictly.The level of infection rate among healthy people and host animal was related to the incidence of leptospira disease in that area.
