Observation on Transmitting Situation of Malayan Filariasis in Area of Basical Elimination

防治后期马来丝虫病传播动态观察

Abstract: To identify whether filariasis can be transmitted continually when microfilaria rate had been dropped to below 1% a longitudinal observation was conducted in Shuiwa village, Xiangfan City of Hubei province during 1982 - 1992.The main results are as fOlows:(1) Although no anti-filariasis measures were applied since 1982, no infected-newly cases of microfilaraemia found when annual blood examination was made during 1983 - 1992, and blood(18 medaraemia cases found in 1982 showed that negative conversion rate of microfilaria was100% 8 later.(2) Annul dissection of Anopheles sinensis were conducted during 1982 - 1986, and no infective stage'larvae were found since l984.The facts mentioned above indicated that transmission of filariasis could be interrppted automatically when microfilaria rate in population had dropped below 1%.

摘要: 目的:探讨基本消灭马来丝虫病地区残存微丝蚴血症者的流行病学意义。方法:不采取任何防治措施,对居民微丝蚴率降至0.97%的水洼村连续进行了10年纵向监测。结果:(1)1982年查出的18例微丝蚴阳性者在1~8年内先后转阴,在观察期间未发现新的微丝蚴血症者;(2)从1984年开始丝虫病的传播强度降至为0。结论:当居民微丝蚴率降至1%以下时,少量低密度微丝拗血症者在流行病学上已不起传播作用。
