Abstract: Tetrastichus hagenowii,an endoparasitoid of Periplaneta fuliginosa Serville which is a dominant species of Blatidae in Hubei province,occurs for 3-4 generations a year and everwinters with prepupae or pupae in cockroach oothecae.The adult wasps emerg enext early Summer.The development periods of different generation of the wasp species from cockroach oothecae vary hegatively with air temperature.The adult wasps' life-spans range from 6-10 days.Natural parasitised ratio of the cockroach species by this female wasps varies from 31.31-72.30%,with an average of 49.46%.Sex ratio of the wasps from 1:0.84 to 1:0.10 with a means of 1:0.33.This wasp can effectively prevent the damage by the cockroach species and has broad prospects for application in biological control of P.fuliginosa.
摘要: 蜚蠊卵啮小蜂是黑胸小蠊、日本大蠊、德国小蠊卵荚内寄生蜂。在湖北该蜂主要寄生在黑胸大蠊卵荚,年发生3~4代,以预蛹或蛹在卵荚内越冬,翌年初夏开始羽化出蜂。在卵荚内发育历期各代不尽相同,主要与温度有关,随着气温升高发育历期渐短,成虫寿命6~10天,该蜂对黑胸大蠊卵荚自然寄生率31.31~72.30%,平均为49.46%。成蜂雌雄性比为1:0.84~1:0.10,平均为1:0.33。蜚蠊卵啮小蜂对黑胸大蠊的发生危害有较强的控制作用,生物防治利用前景广阔。
