Abstract: A trap with five entry holes was used to study the attractant effect of carbon dioxide, octenol, a mixture of 4-methylphenol octenol: 3-n-propylphenol and acetone on cafches of Anopheles gambiae in the laboratory. The catches in the trap baited with carboa dioxide released from a cylinder were much better than those in the trap baited with dry ice. A mixture of 4-methylphenol: octenol: 3-n-propylphenol released at 0.39mg/h, 0.13mg/h and 0.022mg/h respectively showed little attraction to Anopheles gambiae. Octenol in paraffin oil releasedat 0.025mg/h used by itself attracted Anopheles gambiae in number similar to those with acetone released at 0.25ml/h. Acetone at 0.25ml/h and carbone dioxide acted synergistically in attracting significantly greater mumbers of Anopheles gambiae
摘要: 笔者应用五面而入目的捕蚊陷井,研究了化学引诱剂四甲基苯酚、辛醇、三丙基苯酚、丙酮和二氧化碳在试验室内诱捕冈比亚按蚊的效果。丙酮和低剂量的辛醇(0.025mg/h)有一定的诱蚊作用,其诱蚊效果低于二氧化碳。丙酮对二氧化碳有明显的增效作用,它们的混合物比单独使用二氧化碳的诱蚊效增加1倍。
