Abstract: Quwenla as a new synergic and compound repellent was developed in our laboratory.The formulation of the new insect repellent consists of DETA(N, N-Diethyl-m-tolnamide) on the mixture of DETA(Ⅰ) and menthane-3, 8-diol(Ⅱ), filmforming polymers and fixatives, significantly extending the topical duration of the repellent. Quwenlu proved good protection(18-20 hours)aginst some mosquito species in our laboratory. It showed much longer time of protection than similar products manufactured in the country. Tests were also conducted in the field throughout the country and showed satisfactory results.Discussions on the repellency improvement of DETA by incorporation of film-forming polymers and fixatives are included in the paper.
摘要: 本文报告一种新的复方增效驱避剂——驱蚊露。采取固定剂与成膜剂相结合的方法,驱避效果明显优于国内生产的类似产品。
