Abstract: In the past people only knew that Ⅰ. persulcatus is a main vector of spring-summer encephalitis. It is only in recent years that we realized it has relation to Lyme disease.The aim of the paper is to know the mechanism of dissemination of B. burgdorferi by Ⅰ. persulcatusBy means of histology, we made an investigation on the feeding female of Ⅰ. persulcatus, for the first time we observed the distribution of Lyme disease spirochetes-Borrelia burgdorferi in the body of ticks. After feeding 4 or 6 days, the spirochetes were discovered not only in the midgut, but also in other organs such as brain, salivary gland, ovary and Malpighan tubules etc.Spirochetes which were seen in the salivary glands and the ovary showed that the form of tick dissemination in nature to human and the possibility of transovarian transference of pathogens in Ⅰ. persnlcatus would be occur and we regard it asone of the best ways to prevent the Lyme disease that affected ticks would be found as early as possible.

摘要: 本文采用组织学方法,研究我国主要传播媒介——全沟硬蜱(I.persulcatus)。对吸血2~6天雌蜱,首次观察了Lyme螺旋体在其各器官的分布,有助于了解其传播方式,为采取有效预防措施提供了依据,也为该蜱经卵传递病原体提供了线索。
