Abstract: A new species,Bezzia sinica sp.nov.(Fig.1-7) from Zhuhai,Guangdong province is described in this paper.Type specimens are deposited in the Medical Entomology Collected Gallery(Beijing 100071,China).This new species is allied to Bezzia crassistyla Tokunaga but differs in:♀ abdomen without gland rods,and ♂ aedeagus with paired lanceolate median lobes.Holotype ♀,Allotype ♂,Paratypes 2♀♀,3♂♂,Zhuhai,Guangdong province,Ⅵ,1987.Specimens examined:4♀♀,2♂♂ Guangdong province,1♀ Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,1♂,2♀♀ Hainan island,3♀♀ Zhejiang province,1♀1♂ Fujian province,2♂♂,4♀♀,Sichuan province,1♂ Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and 1♂ Yunnan province.
