Abstract: Objective To study on antigenic fractions and immunocompetence of Dermatophagoides farinae extract.Methods After chromatography on Sephadex G-75 and Sephadex G-200,elution was used in skin prick test(SPT).Results After Dermatophagoides farinae extract passed through gel filtration,it was found that the optical densities(A) of the fractions had 2 peaks on Sephadex G-75 and SPT-positive elution was near to the first peak between the two peaks.However,the A of the fractions had 3 peaks on Sephadex G-200 and SPT-positive elution was near to the second peak between the first and second peaks.Conclusion Immunocompetence of Dermatophagoides farinae extract is located at the first peak,the second peak and between them,which are all needed to be used in immunotherapy and diagnosis of allergic diseases.
